Exploring Hans Hass was a special one.
It started when the young director Oliver got his hands on some original film roles from the underwater pioneer Hans Hass. The Austrian Film Archive scanned them within the actual state of the art technique, and so I was the first person to have original material from Hans Hass available in 4K Raw for color grading. That was a challenge and I really got hocked by these people who made the very first underwater films of all times.
Beyond colorgrading we did a full Cinema Delivery including 5.1 Sound on this project. Futher we delivered a TV Edit, wich was also broadcasted on different stations in Central Europe.
